Moji 発見
There is a word "RealMoji" in the article. It seems the word is a coined one, like emoji, originating in a Japanese word, 文字. The app has been gaining a huge audience, mostly young people, from the start. What makes the app different from others is that you are urged to share a picture at different times, which you have no way to tell when the notice comes, and what is more, you have only two minutes to upload a picture. This way, users will end up showing a picture of their real selves with no effects or editing.
Well, it's difficult for me to understand why young people are so eager to share the moments of their lives. I wish I would have as much time I can use for nothing as they can. See, it's already time to prepare for dinner. Time flies…

have had to 意外と使われるんだ…
たまたま見つけた英語の質問。勉強になった。。
「(新しいルールが導入されて)『歩かなくてはならなくなった(今も)』」の英訳は?
ノンネイティブかなの講師は People had to begin walking
A new rule has been introduced and we have to walk there.
We have had to walk there since a new rule was introduced.
という文にして、追加で I don't like the new rule. かな。
(ちなみにhave had to の使用頻度高くて驚いた)
知らんけど。。(というの英語にするとどうなる??)

"'Friction'- barriers to performing a behavior. Distance, time, and effort are all friction.
Friction is really important in determining what behaviors we repeat, and so what behaviors become a habit. We think we go to the gym because we're concerned about fitness, we're determined, and we exert willpower. "

've been skimming through or listening to Big Think podcast for quite a while, but I didn't know all articles are provided with audio! This is amazing!! I've tried several media or blogs to find out the good articles to learn English, but so far I couldn't find the one I feel like using every day. Some are too easy or too difficult, and others don't have audio.
I think articles in Big Think are just right for me; the topics are insightful and intriguing, new articles are frequently updated, and there are appropriate amounts of unfamiliar words for me in each article.
Additionally, I happen to read an article about habit making. I believe how well you can make a good habit holds the key to a blissful and healthy senior life. The article briefly explains the benefit to make a new having. This new challenge of blog writing in English makes a good start for building a new habit.

condiment:
A condiment adds flavor to food. Ketchup and mustard are popular condiments. Most people use condiments when they eat. There are lots of salad dressings, and they're all condiments. If you put relish on a hot dog, that's a condiment too. Barbecue sauce and blue cheese are condiments as well. If it's an extra thing — especially a sauce like ranch dressing — and it makes food taste better, it's probably a condiment.
